Does anyone know what kind of caterpillar/future butterfly or moth this is? It was crawling on our porch in NW Indiana in total darkness. I never thought about it, but are all caterpillars noctural? I guess that would make sense seeing as birds are awake during the day and wouldn't birds be their main predator? Anyway, I digress.
