Here is the thread for lost tags and NOID plants that made it home with you.
I have 2. I think the first is Prairie Verbena.
No idea what the 2nd one is.
N Centra TX RUWhat is this Plant??
Ah sorry about not labeling them. The two taller ones are prairie verbena and the little guy is a wine cups seedling. If you make sure he doesnt dry out he should survive and be a nice size next spring. You were the one who wanted wine cup, correct? I didn't list the plant because it is such a small seedling.

Once again, my bad...they are Rudbeckia hirta, native black eyed susans.
C
Thanks, Cheryl. Now I just need to figure out where to plant everything!
I have the same problem Dennis... more plants than room.
C
BTW if anyone else needs an ID its probably because of me!
Thanks, Cheryl!!
Those are cowpend daisy Sheila.
Gosh, I didn't request those....I bet someone else went home without them...sorry! Thanks Cheryl.
Either that, or Josephine stuck them on your table! LOL
LOL! I am sure they won't go unplanted.
They look like some I brought. I didn't put them under Sheila's table though?
I think I am the guilty party Cheryl, who were they supposed to be for?
The first looks like Eastern mistflower, conoclinium coelestinum, http://wildflower.org/plants/result.php?id_plant=COCO13
The second Zexminiam wedelia hispida.

Perkos.....Not sure about the first one...maybe East TX mistflower? The second one looks like Zexmania.
Cheryl.....my neighbors had a tray under my table and when they started to leave didn't recognize those plants, so I took them figuring they were for me. But then couldn't id them. My cowpen is still very tiny because of so much shade. I shared one with neighbor Glenda (she has come a couple times before) and will plant one in the front bed.
Opps crossposted with you JO!

Thanks Josephine!
Michael, can you take a pic from the side of the first one? I had E Texas Mistflower, but I am not sure that's my container.
I know the second one is zexmenia, I recognize the plant.

I thought I had all the people who hadn't arrived arranged in containers with their names on them. I don't remember who wanted the CD that hadn't showed up before I left...Steadycam maybe?
I think those CD were meant for Anna, I hope she went home with some from somebody.
C
I brought one Estern Mistflower that wasn't promised and I think that is the one.
Sorry Stephanie but I have already planted both of them and the pots are now all jumbled together. It was in a 4 inch square black pot as I recall.
Roux, I think the fourth one is Mealy Blue sage. The first one is definitely Cowpen Daisy and the 3rd one is lizard tail. the 2nd one is Tahoka daisy, I have one just like it with no label.

Perko, did you ever find the fennel? If not, did someone else get a fennel that was supposed to go to Perko?
I got fennel, but it was only one that was promised to me from you.
No fennel in my stash steady. So if someone else got it I hope they like it.
Joy, 1 is CD and 2 is tahoka daisy, sorry I didn't label them.

Thanks Cheryl, don't worry about it, I was pretty sure what they were, just double checking. Been running drip hosess all day, we have had no rain since mid March. I will plant them all in a community bed for this year and hope they produce seed like they have for you. That will make watering easier for me and I can broadcast seed for next spring.

I bet those two plants will do well for you in the drought conditions Joy.
Cool! I need those.

Anyone else get a plant like Trish pictured? Got me curious too.
That's an interesting plant, TrishAnn. I'm curious as well.
Did you get one too Stephanie? I sure hope someone can ID it...
Hello all, hope you can help me out here. I'm sure you guys have all your plants nicely planted by now, and I'm way behind. I have kept them watered, though, and will plant some more each day until I'm done. I was already behind, because of some porch plants I already had (and finally got potted yesterday).
Most everything was handily tagged, but a few were not. I checked out all that I could on the plant files to get sizes, sun or shade, etc. (remember--I'm a newbie).
Also, these I couldn't find in the plant files:
Brazillian Red (I think there were several things called that). Is it a snapdragon?
Firespike--Lots of fires stuff and spikes, but found no firespike.
Also didn't find Willow leaf aster, LA Iris, PI Lilies, or Spider. Is it spider wort, flower or what? I know that PI is Philippine Islands and I assume LA is Los Angeles.
2 of the 3 plants in the red cups are Cow Pen Daisies--full sun and they get tall
The 2 plants in the small black 4" pots look like rain lillies.
The things laying down on the table on the right in the first pic look like Tall Mexican Petunia (ruellia). They get about 3' tall and can be terribly invasive. They spread by underground runners but are easy to pull up.
