Ronnie, Domenic is too cute!!
A few shots to help keep you cool today.
Popham Beach, Phippsburg, Maine
Miscellaneous Shots 2012 - No. 2
Nice, wish I was there too!!!
Considering going down to the shore but it gets so stinkin' crowded
Very relaxing Celeste!
This link will show you an ariel picture of the entire beach. I walked the entire length and back yesterday, very relaxing.
During low tide it is possible to walk out to Fox Island, Brian and I go once a year as a ritual. :)

Wish I was there, too.
I've never been to that beach, Pixie, but it's amazing to see folks in Maine oceanwater in June!
a sandy beach in maine? :)
yesterday was a great day to visit
nice shots Celeste.. would have loved to dip my toes in the water!!!
Super shots!
one is better than the next.. awesome!!
Sigh...would love to take pics like that...
Those bird shots are magnificent! Love the Maine beach shots...never saw a sandy beach in Maine...sounds like a wonderful walk, Celeste. Leah and Dominic are two beautiful babies! Debi, I love Leah's little outfit! How do you tear yourself away? Completely agree with Marilyn and Jen about Flat Florida! I am always chomping at the bit to get back to the hills and trees and mountain brooks! I'm sure I was born here in another life! :)
awesome shots
Those are wonderful!!
very cool!
Not good for me...claustrophobic.....first time driving through Chesapeake Bay Bridge & tunnel nearly killed me!
that is neat
Sorry Robin
I haven't been through that tunnel RD .. think it would un nerve me too
The you would have freaked out on a tour I did some years back. Went way into an abandoned coal mine. The ride into it was in a tunnel only inches wider than the car on the track!
No....would have passed out!
wow from ornate to serene and kinda tacky, not liking that tiled ceiling
I love taking mansion tours...ever go to Newport, RI and take some tours there?
That ceiling is really nice! Guastavino tile. And they made stalactite-like fixtures.
Never been to Newport. Heard the mansions there are really over the top. This one, though luxurious, appeared like a 'real' home. JR sr. Was a frugal Baptist who was not into showy.
Nice Victor!
Wow....showy enough! Love the fountains....
Wonderful shots Victor!
I always loved it there, haven't been back in years.
sorry victor i am stuck on the pic from pam - that would be easy to do with the right base stone - something to think about..............................
Cool!!!
Imagine working on those cranes on the top?
Yeah, really! Within a half hour after we left the area, a crane on top of WTC 4, hit some windows with its beams. They evacuated the Memorial for the rest of the day. Luckily, no one was hurt.
That shot with the two bldgs shows the Freedom Tower, now NYC's tallest, and the Woolworth Bldg, the tallest In the world when opened in 1913. And Woolworth paid for it in cash!
