CLOSED: Red; looks somewhat like ant. Body not seperated like ant

This looks somwhat like an ant, thou the body is not segmented like ants. Red, runs around on the dirt.

Your pictures seem a little fuzzy on my screen, so I don't know if its my computer or the pic itself. From the look of what I could make out, I seem to get the impression like a juvenile/infant boxelder bug. Attached is a picture I found with a whole line, from just hatched to fully adult. That way you can see if that's what it is.
