I see plenty of these insects around windows. dark brown, size of a comma (2~3mm). are they wood borers or else. I removed ten at least yesterday, and today same number is again there.

These are adult beetles; they will not get any larger. Also, not wood borers; likely a nuisance pest such as the foreign grain beetle - http://www.ipm.iastate.edu/ipm/iiin/bthenew.html
