Now I feel OLD

Agawam, MA

I was going to post that I can't believe the 80's were 20 years ago! until I remembered that I grew up in the 70's! ugghh (70's was a boring decade, so I still remember the 80's trivia)

Mummy - I still wear stirrup pants too, but can't find them anywhere either. :(

I was the first person at my school to actually wear stirrup pants. For about the first two months, people thought I was weird. LOL Then they caught on. I had visited my dad in Florida and did my shopping at the mall in Royal Palm, right outside West Palm Beach. I still have four pairs from ten years ago, but can't remember the last time I had them on! I was a teen in the 80's and gee gads do I feel old right now. :)

I was a teen for most of the 80's but I don't seem to remember it very well.

Zany your not old, you've just been around longer.

Belfield, ND(Zone 4a)

I grew up in the 70's too. Then I got married the first time in 1979 when I was 18. I think I either totally missed the 80's or have blanked them out, then in 1991 I got divorced, remarried in 1993 and am back amongst the living again.

Circleville, OH(Zone 8b)

Well I was in my 20's in the 80's, so it even worst when you think of the 60's as a kid.

Louisville, KY(Zone 6a)

wow!, i was a kid of the eighties, born 1975, so i do remember all that! some of those are a bit americanised, but we got all that here too. i remember wearing ra-ra skirts with leg warmers, pink and glittery! plastic bracelets all the way up my arm just to look like madonna, hehe. they've just started re-runs of the TV series 'Fame', looks so old now! * Hi- fidelity Hi - hi hi hi ! hi fedility hi - hi fideeellity!*

Does anyone remember deely boppers? They were those head bands which had 2 long springs with glittery balls on top, made us look like a strange insect.
