Thank you Flapdoodle. This species by latin binomial is listed as Smeared Dagger Moth in the plant files. Any thoughts on this common name disparity?

It is not at all uncommon for the larval and adult stages of insects to have different common names. Thus the utility of Latin binomials to sure of an identity.
