I found this guy trying to crawl up the side of a smooth bowl, but he kept falling in. He was maybe 2/3" long including his legs. He got away from me as I was trying to take him outside, and I'd like to make sure he's not a bad guy.
We often see house centipedes and I wonder what they've been eating. Maybe this is a clue.
There are three pictures if you click on the thumbnail, and one is a bit clearer than the rest.
Thank you for your help!

Can you identify him for me?
Image too fuzzy - could be a cobweb spider (Theridiidae)
