CLOSED: big beetle, what specie??

St. Catharines, Canada

Found outside of a Walmart, could have come from another country on a shipping truck?
The two large front legs seem to come from the creature's neck when I turned him over and looked from underneath, they are also hooked at the ends, the other legs are not.
I'd LOVE to know what this is, and if it's native to southern Ontario where I live :)

It looks like one of the water bugs. Not sure which.

Greenfield, OH(Zone 6a)

Its a Giant Water Bug and is native to the northern part of the United States, so I would have no doubts believing that it could make itself at home in Canada.
Just search, "giant water bug" and you'll find all sorts of data.
