My wife and I just moved to central Texas (outside of Austin) into what we consider the "country". We love it out here, and I can't wait to start my new, expanded garden! Since Brown Recluse spiders can be found in the area, I'm trying to educate myself to be able to identify spiders in our house on the fly. I caught this spider hiding between two boxes (as yet unpacked) in our dining room.
I don't see a violin shape, so I don't think it's a Brown Recluse - but would like to be sure.
thanks!
CLOSED: Spider ID - I believe this is a species of Wolf spider?
