CLOSED: Over-wintering queen

In removing an old wood pile of rotting logs this overwintering queen hornet was disloged from a cavity in the middle of a log. She was very sluggish and I "fearlessly" placed a sunflower seed beside her for scale. An ID of species would be welcome.
