Tips that really work:
I sometimes cook with cast iron and over time it does get a bit rusty. I just cut a potato in half and dipped the sliced side in baking soda and rubbed it on the dutch oven inside and out and it removed every bit of rust with little effort.
What have you used that really works?

I tried it on a blacked bottom of another pan and no it did not work, but it sure does on the cast iron!
hmmm, great tip..I sometimes do a no/no and put cast iron in dishwasher..then comes rust..will try it!
Works like a charm!
