HI, Can anyone tell me if I am suppose to soak these seeds before I start them?

Hi! I haven't grown them here, but my book says you need to scarify the seeds with a sharp knife or nail file and place in warm water to soak overnight before sowing.

These seeds are so hardy, they'll grow outside without any help at all. We have literally hundreds of them here. :)
