I found this insect in my store in Liverpool, Sydney, Australia. Any idea what it could be? Was about half a centimetre in length.

It looks like an Asian Lady Beetle larva.
It is very similar to the Asian Lady Beetle larva (Harmonia axyridis), but is actually the larva of the closely related Common Spotted Ladybird (Harmonia conformis): http://davesgarden.com/guides/bf/go/145/
