Living in New Zealand we are about the first to "experience" the New Year. For us it is represented by barbeques, beach and summer holidays and the flowering of the pohutukawa tree.
But it's raining right now!
What is special about New year for you?
The best thing about New Year
The New Year for us should be cold, dark, snow, fires, slippers, seed catalogs and dreaming of spring. BUT, this year it has been as high as 66 degrees, which I think in celius is 18.8 (course the last time I tried this I was way wrong). Today in the high 40's degree so I will be out walking the garden cleaning up some stuff and doing some pruning.
