This spider appears to have made a regular haunt for itself outside my backdoor. I am in Perth, Western Australia. Been googling spider images but haven't been able to match it up against anything myself.
Anyone able to help identify? Particularly want to know if it is dangerous... Thanks very much.
Harmless orb weaver in genus Eriophora - although it resembles the image of Eriophora biapicata at http://esperancewildlife.blogspot.com/2009/06/garden-spider-eriophora-biapicata.html, these spiders can be quite variable in color pattern.
