We just spotted this scary looking spider in our yard and it's not one I've ever seen before. We live in Ft Lauderdale. Is it a dangerous one? Anyone know what it is?

Unless you're small enough to get caught in her web, this little gal won't hurt you. An Orbweaver and not harmful to humans or pets.

More specifically looks like Eriophora ravilla, the Tropical Orbweaver.
