we recently have discovered that we have a great many of these little guys running around and i am a little freaked out. we have reptiles and they won't even eat them. i figure that they came in in the crickets we use for food and i dont know if they are harmful. could someone please help with identifying them .i live in victoria b.c canada, but some of the crickets come from california.
thanks in advance

help please
Is this the bottom or the top or the bottom of the spider we are looking at?
I can't tell from the picture =/.
If it's the bottom, we need a picture of the top, as well as a picture of the eyes if possible.
Thanks!
Ash
It could be in the family Theridiidae, but as LadyAshley stated, we need to see the dorsal (upper) surface of this specimen. It does not appear to be anything dangerous.
I also think it is probably a Theridiidae, aka Cobwed Weaver. (harmless), but the picture is really dark.
This does appear to be a theridiid in the genus Steatoda; native to B.C. and not dangerous.
