Not here, just rain and down to 32.

Alba, TX(Zone 8a)

Spitting little pellets of sleet this morning. Seems to have cleared up now but still overcast and cold. Nice change from this summer! =)

Baytown, TX(Zone 9a)

That it is! I put all of the tropicals (well most anyway) in the makeshift greenhouse, using the frame of the gazebo, like a few years ago, so hopefully they'll be OK. It's already down to 31. No snow predicted for our area!

25 here this morning, I hate the cold!!!!

Baytown, TX(Zone 9a)

It got down to 29 here this am. It warmed up nicely and I finally got out there and watered as it supposed to be cold for several hours again tonight.

It's already 29 out there now. I covered the tropicals with sheets inside the makeshift GH best I could. It is sooooo full it's hard to read all the way to the other side. Hopefully they will be OK. One or two of the plumies still have their leaves on them! Nothing is brown yet, thank goodness.

Take care and stay warm!

It seems kind of odd to me, but my rosemary is blooming now.

(Edited to correct spelling of rosemary. I was just reading an article about Rosemarie (the actress) and must have been thinking about her when I typed this!)

Oh my goodness, Stephanie! You mean your shrimp plant is winter hardy?? I love them! I had a yellow/orange one a few years ago, but it wouldn't tolerate the cold. Boo.

Fort Worth, TX(Zone 8a)

My red one has come back from the roots for the past 3 years. If I get a baby in the spring, I can give it to you.

My yellow jasmine is going crazy and it normally doesn't bloom until Feb.!

This weather is crazy! No wonder the plants are confused! haha!

Have a great weekend!

My first Daffodil of the season.
Normally this variety blooms in the middle of November, so it is late.
It is sooo fragrant ...

Normally all of those are blooming already.
I guess I need to be happy that they are still alive after the crazy summer we had here in Dallas.

It is sooo fragrant and normally I make bouquet to take inside the house and you can smell them everywhere.
Usually they start to bloom at the middle of November, but this year they are late ... but I think I am happy that they didn't dye during the crazy summer of 2011 !!
