I dug up a few tubers and was wondering how to store them over the winter.
I have a shredder and want to know if I can place them in a container with the loose shredded paper over the winter.
The tubers are sweet potato roots from an ornamental vine I grew and liatris and then I dug up some common 4 o clocks to get a better jump than planting seeds next year.
Don't know which forum to post this question to
If you can put them in pots, separately, toss dirt over them and keep them dry and warm this winter, they should sprout in Feb. or March. Start watering them after you locate them where you want them.
Sounds like a plan. Thanks Kay.
