CLOSED: Bug Identification
Did this object move at all? It looks like the detached abdomen of a larva of an insect in the order Neuroptera - http://www.backyardnature.net/pix/owlflylv.jpg
I think my cat attacked it so no it wasn't moving, what exactly is it though? My boyfriend had some sort of bite on his wrist, could this be what bit him?
Theoretically possible, but extremely unlikely.
Looks like the remains of a sowbug/woodlouse - not actually a bug, but a type of terrestrial crustacean. There are many species and they're found throughout much of the world. They can't bite and feed mainly on damp, decaying vegetation.

Good possibility - I hadn't considered that as I could see no traces of legs.
