Grandson sent these pictures. These small bugs have been eating his hot pepper bush. He wants to know what they are and how to dispose of them..
CLOSED: This looks like a true Bug. What is it?
Leaf footed bug nymph of some type.
Poison is your prerogative, whether you want to go non-chemical using insecticidal soap, neem oil, or what.
liquid castile soap and water kills them instantly, as it does any insect, so do not directly spray on bees.
Thanks, but does anyone know what it is?
i agree with ladyashley that it most resembles a young leaf-footed bug. http://www.google.com/search?q=leaf-footed+bug&hl=en&biw=1125&bih=592&site=webhp&prmd=imvns&tbm=isch&tbo=u&source=univ&sa=X&ei=HHKoTrGtFdC_tgeN6q0O&sqi=2&ved=0CCkQsAQ
Thank you all very much. Hope this helps him save his crop.
