this fly was captured in India on my camera on super macro mode during rainy season. it seems so strange that it does not have antenna. or may be the antenna is so small that it can't be seen here. i have a video of this mating pair too. i have never so far seen any kind of fly which i can link a relation to this one. its colors are so attractive. its head is rosy pink and its legs are lily white at the end as if they are wearing hand gloves. its legs are trio-colored. orange, brown and then white. sheer beauty, i would say. and yes, they are about 7mm in length.

I am guessing the antennae to be those small orange things on the head.

it seems that i just can't add this fly to data.
reason: need all details. from cirrusimage.com i could get a match of stilt-legged fly. where it show the fly as 'Family-Micropezidae - Stilt-Legged Flies, Family Tachinidae | Syrphidae | Bombyliidae' which is confusing me.

can you create an entry for me please ?
