We live in Indianapolis, Indiana and found this spider on a family member's bed. Would you please identify it, if possible, as we are concerned that if it bit someone there could be a problem.

Not harmful at all. I believe a Rabid Wolf Spider. Contrary to it's name, it's isn't aggressive in the least.

Not a wolf spider - note long spinnerets. Grass spider in genus Agenelopsis.
