CLOSED: Western Spotted Orbweaver?

Vacaville, CA(Zone 9b)

Hi. I would like confirmation that this is a "Western Spotted Orbweaver". It is similar to a photo I found on the web, but the poster was not completely sure of the species. Thanks for your help.

not sure, but let her out of that jar, put her outside free

can't you see her legs are hurting? .... get her out of there

I agree with the ID of Neoscona oaxacensis - Western Spotted Orbweaver. A great spider to have.

Great. Thanks for the confirmation kwanjin.

@bokisan It's still alive, but not sure for how much longer.I found the spider flailing around injured when I was pressure washing my house. If I return it to the wild, it will die for sure. I have a 30 gallon aquarium that it is in now. It has a better chance to survive in that than it does outside. Thanks for your concern.
