I put my BST chrysallises in a jar, and put them in the fridge--that has worked well for me before.

Since it is turning colors it may be too late to try to over-winter in the fridge. Your temps are about like ours right now, and I am still seeing sulphurs flying. I think Dale said that they find leaf litter or shelter even as adults then emerge in the spring and fly.

Amanda great news on the FL paintbrush. I hope you get your seeds...it is a wonderful butterfly magnet. It grows very well in Central FL sandy soils.
