I am hoping someone can tell me what kind of spider this is? I have found at least 8 in our basement and garage and it is scaring me. I have little kids and I don't know if they bite or are dangerous. And how can I get rid of them?

Are you finding messy webs in your house? This looks like one of the Crevice Weavers, Filistatidae. Completely harmless.
