Gardens (gardeners, too) can look a little tired this time of year!
What plants to you have in your yards blooming now?
Here are a few around here.
This is a golden-foliaged blue mist shrub.
The cultivar name escapes me at this moment.
Maybe someone can help provide it?
At any rate, it was keeping the bees happy yesterday.
It really looks good - lots of blooms on foliage which still looks fresh.
Always a bonus at this time of year.
Fall bloomers
hi, your 1st pic could be Autumn Blue Spiraea 'Sunshine Blue' (Caryopteris incana) or caryopteris 'Worcester Gold'. it's hard to tell what kind of foliage u have.
i have caryopteris 'Snow Fairy' - pic attached - which i adore !!! and 'Summer Sorbet's - as do all the critters too !!
how does the saying go - anyone can have a beautiful garden in the spring but a true gardener has 1 in the fall !!!
CHEERS
mary ann
have all of those caryopteris here plus dark knight - all planted together - you can hear them, or should i say the bees, from several yards away. great fall blooming shrub.
