I was in my back yard when this insect was seen on my outdoor table. It walked sideways similar to a crab but could still move in all directions.
After we took initial photos it jumped from the table approximately 60cm to a nearby bush. We spotted it and took this photo of it on the leaf.
Anyone know what insect it is? In real life, the antennas were obviously whiter than depicted in the photo.

This one's new to me. I want to know, too. I looked at leafhoppers but didn't see any like this.
