Gosh...I love herons!!
Believe this is a Black-throated Green Warbler I got this morning.....
Daily Bird Pics - Vol. 414
Fantastic shots, Burd. Razor sharp, too.
Nan, love those Warblers and Burd, wow some fantastic shots at Sheldon's.
Burd, it's like you took my favorite birds and then took the best imaginable shots of them! GORGEOUS! Love the flycatcher photos and warblers.
Nanny, you go girl! Get those warblers! Love the mourning warbler.
Margaret, really nice shots. Love those mirror-image kookaburras!
Carla, nice one on the Wilson's!
Lily, always love your by-the-waterside shots.
Was really hoping this would be a glossy ibis but probably immature white-faced ibis.
Elphy, the Ibis is interesting. Its feathers appear green. Is that a true color?
Hah, I can almost 'hear' that song...."Boots made for walking". Terrific pics. I love every single one of them.
Great shots Elphaba!
Wonderful pictures all. Passed 3 turkeys on a nearby road. They haven't been over here lately which is fine with me as they can be a nuisance with their dust baths. However, with all our rain, have not had much dry ground to use.
Whoa! I've got a lifer! A Magnolia Warbler! Thanks to Burd who helped I.D. this beauty.
Hey Congrats!!!
Love Elphaba's Ibis too!
Veru cute small bird. Heron more easily seen. Ha!
Congrats, Lily! Don't you love it when a Lifer lands on your deck??
Carla
Here's a good one, we just recently bought a birdcam 2.0, still getting the hang of it. Believe this one is a bjorn chickadee or a black capped chickadee,
Chestnut-backed Chickadee
Quote from nanny_56 :This is from yesterdays morning walk...I think it is a Red-eyed Vireo
Yep!
Magnolia Warbler I think here....
Chestnut-sided Warbler, first-winter
Thrush...not positive as to which one!
Just enough to be fairly certain on Swainson's - note the 'spectacles' it is wearing, and the tail not rufous.
