Willow Flycatcher...was thinking Eastern Phoebe but bird was smaller and did not flick its tail...and a Willow Flycatcher seemed the best match with not having an obvious eyering and faint wingbars.

Fantastic shots, Burd. Razor sharp, too.

Central, AL(Zone 7b)

Nan, love those Warblers and Burd, wow some fantastic shots at Sheldon's.

Rockport, TX(Zone 9a)

Burd, it's like you took my favorite birds and then took the best imaginable shots of them! GORGEOUS! Love the flycatcher photos and warblers.
Nanny, you go girl! Get those warblers! Love the mourning warbler.
Margaret, really nice shots. Love those mirror-image kookaburras!
Carla, nice one on the Wilson's!
Lily, always love your by-the-waterside shots.

Was really hoping this would be a glossy ibis but probably immature white-faced ibis.

One more of the ibis.

Elphy, the Ibis is interesting. Its feathers appear green. Is that a true color?

Rockport, TX(Zone 9a)

Greater Yellowlegs

Lily, I think that's the fall color. My last pic for now. I call it "these boots were made for walkin'" -- Snowy Egret.

I lied -- one more. Two ibis and a western sandpiper.

Oh and Lily, yes, he was very green!

Hah, I can almost 'hear' that song...."Boots made for walking". Terrific pics. I love every single one of them.

Marlton, NJ

Great shots Elphaba!

South Hamilton, MA

Wonderful pictures all. Passed 3 turkeys on a nearby road. They haven't been over here lately which is fine with me as they can be a nuisance with their dust baths. However, with all our rain, have not had much dry ground to use.

Here's a good one, we just recently bought a birdcam 2.0, still getting the hang of it. Believe this one is a bjorn chickadee or a black capped chickadee,

This is from yesterdays morning walk...I think it is a Red-eyed Vireo

This one shows how well the Black-throated Green warblers blend in with the fall colors!

Magnolia Warbler I think here....Well I was wrong....Thank You Resin for the correction!! Chestnut- sided Warbler!! Not a new lifer but only the second one I have ever gotten!

Yep!

[quote="nanny_56"]Magnolia Warbler I think here....

Chestnut-sided Warbler, first-winter

[quote="nanny_56"]Thrush...not positive as to which one!

Just enough to be fairly certain on Swainson's - note the 'spectacles' it is wearing, and the tail not rufous.
