CLOSED: Bug ID needed

Hanover Twp., PA(Zone 6a)

I began to cut back my sunflowers and ran into a few bugs along with one on my Phlox that I'm not sure of. Can anyone help me out.

This one was on my Phlox. I'm really interested in this odd bug.

#1 is one of the Assassin Bugs, Pselliopus cinctus.

#2 is one of the Tiger Moths, I'm pretty sure.

Not sure of #3.

Thanks for your help kwanjin. I thought the cat was a white wooly. This is the third type of assassin bug I've found in my yard this year.

Charleston, SC

#3 is also in the assassin bug family (Reduviidae), but can be called an ambush bug as part of the sub-family Phymatinae. Yours could be one of the Jagged Ambush Bugs of the genus Phymata.

This bug was so tiny. I have filmed a butterfly flopping around as if it was stuck on the flower. The vido is pretty funny. I finally stopped filming and looked closely to find one of these little bugs holding on to the butterfly. I gave the butterfly a gentle pull and off it flew leaving behind one of these bugs. These bugs must be pretty nasty. Thanks for your help.
