Finally stopped raining and the sun came out, took pics of all the ee's, bananas, and tropicals but you can not see them...rofl, sun is too bright...LOL Have to try in the morning.
Thailand Giant
send some of that rain our way joyce....
its clouding up..but forcast says..nadda.. sigh.. :(
ya..i find best pics taking mid morning..or late afternoon.. otherwise
sun here is way to bright..and i get pics with alot of glare..
anxious to see your pics..
I am concerned the ee I bought is not a giant. I will really be miffed if it isn't. I had a gift certificate for Logee's and that is what I ordered.
We were in such droughts the last couple years that the rain is really needed. I see you all are really burning up out there.
joyce..hope u did get plant/s you actually ordered..
ive never ordered from logee's..i am a HUGE fan of brians botanicals..and
a wonderful gal down in mississippi..
makes me wonder this year.. my good gal down in ms.. with the wet winter they had..she
didnt have any plants for sale this yr.. :( sigh..and she was growing out some nice
big alocasias..i wanted my hands on.. sigh..
hers are field grown..i think thats why they are tougher than greenhouse plants..they
"hardening off" of her plants is almost nothing for me..
on ebay..ive seen no jacks giants.. few big alocasias up for bid/sale..
many had thai giants..so guess a good yr for them..???
joyce.. great looking plants!!!! i think the "thai giant " you have looks like a young
thai giant.. my experience with them is with each progressive "larger" leaf they get more
wide..and BIGGER!!! :) heeeheh
?? is that your field of corn in the back of pic 3?? thats alot of corn..:)
your other plants..nanners,etc.. look great..
you seem to be doing a super job!!!
That first one does look more like an Alocasia than either Colocasia or Xanthosoma.
Wish it was my corn...lol Would be a nice payday come this fall... ;) Guess I will find out as the ee grows. I got a gift certificate from a friend. I have never bought from them before this.
