This spider was huge. It appears to have 8 eyes unlike the 6 eyed brown recluse but I just want to be sure. This is in Florida. The spider was really big about 2-3 inches when the legs were spread.
Spider in house
It's hard for me to see it well but it's possibly a Fishing Spider or Giant House Spider. Both harmless, although scary looking. Another possiblity is the Southern House Spider.
Anyone else want to weigh in?
Huntsman spider? (family Sparassidae).
