I bought in Japan seeds Ip. tricolor and the seller said they were earlier blooming strain - he was right because it bloom one month before the others.
Some vendors sell it as "Clarke's Early Heavenly Blue" which may originally have been earlier but seems just the same now.
Both plants grow and are of a different color - one is darker!
