I had to cut a few little suckers/branches off one of my cherry trees. Can anyone tell me if I can get them to root? And how to go about it? It is a Canadian Cherry, but I don't know if it is grafted or not, so can't tell you if the suckers are the same. Anybody try this before? It is a young tree and not all that big yet, if that makes a difference.
rooting a cherry tree?
If you dig up root suckers with a good amount of root on, yes, they'll succeed; otherwise, not.
Resin
Well, if they don't root, I'm sure not out anything, and I'm sure more will come to replace them, hahaha!
