Hi, folks. I need your help once again. I am planning a garden for next year. I have cleared a 31'x4' area along the west fence in our front yard. It will get full sun until early-mid afternoon. I have a partial list of possibilities for plantings. This will be in honor of my DH who is a Navy boy.
Rose 'Veteran's Honor'
Iris 'American Patriot'
Hemerocallis 'In The Navy'
Hemerocallis 'Darrell'
Except for invasive or reseeding plants, any and all suggestions are very welcome.
You might also consider a red-white-and-blue theme for at least part of the garden. That will give you more plant options than limiting yourself to patriotic cultivar names.
A neighbor up the street has done that. I don't want to copy.
