I came home the other night, and this spider was waiting for me outside my front door. I've never seen any spider like this. I'd say he was bigger than a quarter. I've looked around the internet to try and find spiders similar to this, but I haven't had any luck. I live in southwest Florida if that helps any.
It's a female spider with babies attached. Likely a Wolf Spider. It is harmless but can deliver a very painful bite hard if provoked.
Hope she got away ok with her brood. Amazing spiders!
