This "fly" came on my chest one night and I am having difficulty identifying this species.
Does anyone know?
CLOSED: What species is this?
That seems to be a Summer Fishfly - Chauliodes pectinicornis: http://bugguide.net/node/view/8568/bgimage?from=24

One of the Megaloptera, the Dobsonflies and Fishflies. Not a true fly, Megaloptera have four wings, Diptera have only two.
Ken
Thanks!!
Now I understand the differences.
