New to seed starting, my mesculin mix germinated fine and I put it under a 13W fluorescent light and it seemed to be doing ok. I got a new T5 6 bulb light and put my lettuce bout 3" under the bulbs and now all my seedlings fell over from the heat. I have read numerous places that the lights need to be no more than 4" above the seedlings but how do I dissipate all the heat so it don't kill them?
fried my lettuce :(
round 2, lettuce 12 inches under the lights and very happy. It is a week old and all the little seedlings have 1 real leaf
