Bunch of these little worms in plant pot

I got a corn plant (Dracaena Massangeana) from outside next to the dumpster, and just noticed all these little worms in the potting soil. What are they, and were they added on purpose to help the plant or should I remove them?

I have found these in pot plants that I have purchased. Unfortunately, I don't know what they are either. I hope that someone can ID them. I removed them as best I could.

Not worms, centipedes. They're probably eating the dead plant material in the pots. I would remove them. They can and will bite which can be painful, so use caution.

Those are thew same "worms" I found in my bromeliads ! I rescued the plants from an office and repotted them in brand new sphagnum moss. One month later - there are the bugs. Dead plant material makes sense, since the mother plant was dying as the pups grew - but where do the bugs come from ?

They can be transported in from just about anywhere. The eggs were probably in there before and hatched later.
