Not sure if its a Long-horned Wood-boring Beetle or Black Pine Sawyer, whats the difference, are they one and the same? Are there any other beetles in Nova Scotia , Canada with long antanae like this. Spotted June 28, 2011.

Hi junponline, it looks like a spruce bug. At least that is what we call them. If they get on you, they really stick. The dog knows to stay away from them because they grab on to her whiskers & don't let go. And they bite.
