Although a visitor from England, I would like to know what this insect is. It is not something I have seen one before. It's body is blue/black and the wings are basically the same with 3 red markings down each wing. It seemed to specialise in visiting scabious.

It is quite a common day-flying moth in England as well as elsewhere in Europe.
