A rather large and strange looking fly has been hanging around my backyard. It's resting on the wheel hub of my leaf cart in the photo, wingspan at least an inch and a half. Please, can someone ID it?

Order: Diptera (DIP-ter-a)
Family: Bombyliidae
Genus: Xenox (ZEE-noks)
Species: tigrinus
