Hello everyone! I found this spider the other night crawling on my porch in Virginia. I went and grabbed the camera and after uploading the pictures and zooming in I found that on it's back there were hundreds of what looked to be eyes! Is it possible there were a lot of babies on it? Or was it probably just reflecting specks off of the spider's back? Thanks for any help! This thing is giving me nightmares lol. Also if anyone knows what kind of spider this is I would sure love to know! :)
OMG, I love having spiders in the garden, but that thing would make me want to move!! LOL
That is a wolf spider. they carry their babies like that.

Wolf spiders hunt other spiders. Why would you not want it in your yard?
