I have a mulberry tree that God gave me and it grew in a large pot for several years. This spring I transplanted the tree and it seemed to like its new home as it really took off. However, something has decided that the leaves are a great place to lay eggs, I'm assuming that is what is in the bumps on the leaves. Underneath each bump is a cottony patch, I'm guessing to hold in the eggs, larvae? I never see any "bug" nor any baby creepy crawly. Of course, then the leaves turn yellow and fall off, but the leaves are not eaten. Don't have any pictures. Does anyone know what this could be and how I can get rid of it?
Thanks much,
Rosalie in Chicago, IL
