Candela,
LOVE your house, lime green is my favorite color! Especially that shade...now my daughter has picked out a BRIGHT lime green to paint her bathroom and I am not liking it too much, but we made a deal so she gets her lime green bathroom.

Candela, Very nice! I like the Mimosa and the King Sago? out front! The two colors look really good together. What are the pots on the wall your DH built for you sitting on? VERRRY nice variegated Philo! What kind?

Sarasota, FL(Zone 9b)

The house looks lovely, Candela. It's a nice soft color. Love that pretty Vanda! Paula, I'll bet your daughter will get tired of the bathroom color very quickly. Just don't buy her too many accessories that only 'go' with that bright lime green.

Phew! I'm cooked today! I feel like a wimp with Debra and Rita suffering through 109 and 107, when our temp is only 93 but . . . what with the humidity and all . . it's tough to do much outside. There was a decent breeze this morning that made it tolerable in the shade for quite a while, though.

Now I must address Project Mango! Dh is away and is missing fresh mangoes off the tree, so I'm madly freezing, making ice cream, drying and otherwise preserving the things for him to have when he gets home. Just hope the squirrels and raccoons leave enough on the tree for me to take some to my daughter next week. Usually this tree sets fruit twice, in January and again in March so it spreads the harvest out over a couple of months. This year the early fruit set was destroyed by frost so it set a big crop in March and here they are, all ripening at once! Frankly my dears, if I don't see another ripe mango until next June I'll be happy.

Here's a Dr. Moy flower scape with variegation on it as well as the leaves. I've never seen it do this before!

candela love the boo gate.

dyzzy, you mango crazy gal... With the threat of the critters, I'm gonna stick to getting my mango's from the farmers market. I'm sure that DH of your's will love what you are doing for him.

I hear ya on the humidity, when I went out to leave work this afternoon the inside of the car (I leave the roof window closed now since getting 2" of rain inside the car) was so hot the steering wheel I had to use papertowels to hold on to it. I even use a front window cover, guess I'll have to go back to leaving the roof window open and hope I can get out there before the rain...LOL

well, another weekend of scorching temps, am glad we got a litle spurt of rain. I am glad you got your house painted, I love the color and the tropical decorations. my baby sago from seed is still kicking it out. i hope it gets huge some day. I had to go around and pull out all my cone flowers, they had a disease, called aster yellows? anyway, i am in the mood to pull everything out and start all over at this rate. ,moved more tropicals to around the pear tree, poor Joe, he is going to have a fit trying to mow. I guess I will just let him dodge everything. brugs are growing fast now that they are there.love both those anthuriums, caNdela, and homer, my portera has about 13 pups alll stuck in that blue pot, now what?
the other EE's are just now starting to leaf out out there in the sun.. hope the don't mind it there a little longer.
i LOVE mangos. i have been getting a mango pineapple frozen drink and the macdonalds, i never eat there, but i love that frozen drink.
Miss Molly is so cute!
I can't type well in the dark, so bear with me here.. ( lights out at 8 in this house.)

i am still finding caladiums and these little baby EE's everywhere, are you sure they don't grow from root pieces?
