Do you have your American Flag out and hung up or small American flags placed in your flowerbeds? Will you be attending a local parade? Fireworks, tonight? Surely somebody out there was creative and thought about planting red, white and blue flowers. If so, we'd like to see some snapshots. Enjoy the day with your family, friends, and neighbors. I can remember many fun times my family has had over in Baltimore on this day with cousins, their friends and neighbors. Walking up to the Avenue to watch the local parade, all the long tables of food prepared by everybody, which would also included steamed crabs and home made crab soup, watermelon and lots of desserts. The mischievous cousins that would start a water battle with the garden hose. If you didn't watch yourself, you'd be a target. It was all so much fun. You learned to take along an extra set of clothes in case you got wet. Watching the fireworks in the sky as we drove home the 40 miles, exhausted from the full day of fun.

Take time out and remember the men and woman who are in the war torn countries fighting for our Freedom. Salute those men and women who walk proudly in the local parade. Display your flag proudly! Be proud to live in America!
