I saw lots of these small metallic green beetles on some yellow flowers (I think St Johns Wort). They resemble Rose beetles but were smaller, only about 6mm long. This was late June in Kent, SE England, location was a disused chalk quarry.

Yes they do resemble Rose beetls apart from the size - Rose beetles are around 20mm long but these were only 5-6mm. Maybe size varies this much naturally.
