I have a Red Bud Tree, that I like,it looks pretty in the Spring when it flower's, and I like it in the Late Spring and in the Summer, but in the Fall I hate the thing. It has so many seed pods that fall all over the yard and it looks so ugly then, I'm having trouble decieding if I should keep it or not.

The seeds are a valuable food for some birds - remember leaving them helps wildlife

Has it lost branches to canker? They can get pretty ungainly when the trunk has to sprout new branches repeatedly.

I don't think the tree had anything wrong with it. I just didn't like all the pods in the fall. It is gone now, but I have 2 Dutch Honey Suckles and 1 Prince Blue Holly with 2 Princes Blue Hollies, and Coneflowers for food for the birds.
