Lovely photos, everyone.

Pixie - I had ordered another Jocasta and my "not Jocasta" also opened today and is remarkably similar to yours. I wonder if we ordered from the same vendor.

Here's the real one:

Thanks. I'm calling about mine tomorrow to get a replacement.

Beautiful astilbes, Pixie. There are very few I know by name since I've moved them so often. Rhineland is the easiest one and then Bridal Veil and Visions.

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

your welcome Celeste.. they look great!!... I thought baptisia take forever to bloom from seed.. years and years.. could be wrong though

Pittsford, NY(Zone 6a)

Great pix everyone.
Marilyn: I had a white baptisia,It bloomed late in summer.Dunno if it was the same variety or not.

Malvern, PA(Zone 6b)

Thanks Marilyn; I guess I will pull the loosestrife out. Is it a perennial?
Zinnia with JB, first JB of the season, a little late in arrival but yuck as always.

Beautiful Jo! Your lilies are popping out all over!!!

Thomaston, CT

Agreed....those lilies make such a statement! Pam, Pfg, gave me Pam's Choice....I love it! Love your pink lily, Pixie! Your purple noid is campanula glomerata, I think......Yes, Rama, the gooseneck is a very long lived perennial! Here is a new lily for me....think it came in a mixed bag.....

Great garden show. The purple loosestrife is gone from our local river since the wasp in Europe which is its pest was let loose. Finally!

Pepperell, MA(Zone 6a)

have not been on in a few days - lot's of great bloom shots all!

Thomaston, CT

Good news about the loosestrife.....Mass. was mauve every summer.....now where's the insect that eats the lily beetle....supposed to have been released in Mass.

Pittsford, NY(Zone 6a)

I heard there was a wasp that was introed in new england. It cant get here soon enough for me.

I hope a pest on slugs and snails is next.

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

and where did they import that bug from? What will it start to eat when all the lily beetles are gone? probably a beneficial....

(Arlene) Southold, NY(Zone 7a)

I add my vote for a control for slugs, snails and earwigs. Just hope it doesn't cause more wrinkles.

Pittsford, NY(Zone 6a)

Then move on to voles.

South Hamilton, MA

supposed to be specific to the lily beetle. I think they released it in western Mass. which doesn't do us any good.

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

nice JoAnn.. looking great!!

Thomaston, CT

Hello....I'm close to western Mass....why isn't the little wasp here? Or maybe it is, since I'm seeing fewer beetles, but one is too many!

Beautiful Bill! I like the S. Cloud too.

RD Perhaps they trained them to stop at state lines. I think the project was started by the University of RI, but not sure. I will google the beetles & try & find new News.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)
