Garden Photos #11
Victor i like your white echie, which one is it? 'Primadonna White? , 'Virgin? or 'Fragrant Angel'?
Thanks. I'm calling about mine tomorrow to get a replacement.
Beautiful astilbes, Pixie. There are very few I know by name since I've moved them so often. Rhineland is the easiest one and then Bridal Veil and Visions.
your welcome Celeste.. they look great!!... I thought baptisia take forever to bloom from seed.. years and years.. could be wrong though
Great pix everyone.
Marilyn: I had a white baptisia,It bloomed late in summer.Dunno if it was the same variety or not.
Lots to look at today.

Beautiful Jo! Your lilies are popping out all over!!!
Great garden show. The purple loosestrife is gone from our local river since the wasp in Europe which is its pest was let loose. Finally!
have not been on in a few days - lot's of great bloom shots all!
Good news about the loosestrife.....Mass. was mauve every summer.....now where's the insect that eats the lily beetle....supposed to have been released in Mass.
I heard there was a wasp that was introed in new england. It cant get here soon enough for me.
I hope a pest on slugs and snails is next.
and where did they import that bug from? What will it start to eat when all the lily beetles are gone? probably a beneficial....
I add my vote for a control for slugs, snails and earwigs. Just hope it doesn't cause more wrinkles.
Then move on to voles.
supposed to be specific to the lily beetle. I think they released it in western Mass. which doesn't do us any good.
nice JoAnn.. looking great!!
Hello....I'm close to western Mass....why isn't the little wasp here? Or maybe it is, since I'm seeing fewer beetles, but one is too many!
I like that silver cloud!!
Beautiful Bill! I like the S. Cloud too.
RD Perhaps they trained them to stop at state lines. I think the project was started by the University of RI, but not sure. I will google the beetles & try & find new News.
Very nice, Bill! My clems are having a great year too.
thanks! i like it too better varigation than when i planted it last fall.
does it get the pretty berries Bill?
